Slip, Slop, Slap has never been more important for Australian workers that spend time working outside in the harsh Australian sun.
The Cancer council of Australia in July 2012 advised
According to Sunsmart, at least two in three Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70.
In workers protection against the Australian Sun, ProChoice ProBloc SPF 50+ leads the way.
What does SPF 50+ (Sun Protection Factor) mean?
The best way for workers to protect themselves from the sun is by covering skin with clothing or shade, however when this cannot be achieved, all remaining exposed skin should be protected by Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 50+
The SPF rating indicates the level of protection provided by a sunscreen against Ultra Violet Rays (UVR). Note:- the purpose of sunscreen is to reduce a workers exposure to UVR, not to extend the duration they can expend outside in the sun.
Why use Prochice ProBloc SPF 50+ Sunscreen?
ProBloc sunscreen is water resistant for up to 4 hours, is dry touch, PABA free and is very easy to apply to the skin. It also contains Vitamin E which nourishes the skin.
Nanoparticle free ProBloc is built for workers. In 2008, nanoparticles were cited as a major factor in causing premature weathering of prepainted steel roof sheets. Nanoparticles have also been shown to cause deteriation of surface coatings and paints on cars and other products.
Therefore ProBloc sunscreen is proudly Nanoparticle free.
What Safety standard does ProBloc SPF50+ comply with?
All ProBloc Sunscreen proudly complies with Australian and New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 2604:2012
