Our Range of Disposable Protective Clothing

PRO Choice's range of disposable coveralls includes entry-level polypropylene coveralls for keeping clothes clean, as well as Provek coveralls that are Type 5/6 compatible and have a dual layer of microporous film (58 G/M2) over spunbond polypropylene.

These suits are specifically designed as a barrier against liquid splashes, offering good quality liquid protection and breathability for general industry use. Our general-purpose polypropylene disposable overalls feature spunbond polypropylene (40 G/M2) that is strong and durable, providing light protection for non-toxic environments.

What Standards Do Our Coveralls Meet?

BIG Safety stocks both Type 5 and Type 6 disposable coveralls designed to meet specific safety standards as defined by the European Union. While both are made from high-quality materials that provide excellent protection, there are some differences between the two types.

Type 5 Disposable Coveralls

Type 5 disposable coveralls are designed to protect against hazardous dust and other dry particles. They are evaluated according to the European standard EN ISO 13982-1, which specifies the requirements for particle-tight protective clothing. This standard assesses the amount of inward leakage of aerosols and solid particles into the suit while a person performs a series of three exercises on a treadmill.

Type 6 Disposable Coveralls

Type 6 disposable coveralls are designed to protect against light spray and splashes of liquid chemicals. They are evaluated according to the European standard EN 13034, which specifies the requirements for limited spray-tight protective clothing. This standard assesses the coveralls' resistance to penetration by reduced liquid spray.
