All Justrite Type 1 Safety Cans are constructed of powder-coated galvanised steel and feature self-closing, leakproof lids. Cans are certified by FM, UL/ULC & TUV and meet OSHA and NFPA requirements.
All Justrite Type 1 Safety Cans have a built-in flash Arrester. The Flash Arrester stops naked flame from entering the can either filling or dispensing thereby eliminating and risk from flashback causing explosion. The contents of the Can are also fully protected from fire should one occur as the Flash Arrester allows for the increased pressure to vent off safely without causing an explosion.
