Benefits of PVC/Polyester

Waterproof and durable, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is able to withstand heavy rain. It's also resistant to mildew and mould, which can be an issue in damp environments. Polyester is lightweight, strong and quick to dry. The synthetic fabric isn't prone to shrinking and stretching, making it an excellent choice for rainproof gear.

Combine the two fabrics and you're left with something that's both waterproof and breathable. Along with keeping the rain out, PVC/polyester also allows perspiration to escape.

PRO Choice Wet Weather Gear

The PRO Choice rain jacket is a robust wet weather jacket with inner elastic cuffs and a drawstring hood. The jacket closes with a zip and studs to ensure maximum dryness. The 3/4 length comes down to the top of the thighs, allowing for freedom of movement while offering additional protection.

The full length PRO Choice raincoat comes all the way down to the calves and is equipped with the same inner elastic cuffs and a drawstring hood. Both the raincoat and jacket are fitted with two large pockets, offering safe storage for valuables.

Elasticated at the waist and ankles, the PRO Choice rain pants provide a handy way to keep your team members dry in wet weather.

The rigid nature of PVC/polyester lends itself to limited movement roles, such as pedestrian crossing attendants. It’s not suitable for work activities that require rigorous movement e.g. jumping, digging or lifting heavy loads.

For team members with more active roles in the workplace, our fluoro yellow PRO Choice hi vis rainwear suit is a more suitable choice. It’s made from a lighter and more flexible PVC/polyester that bends and moves with the body. The jacket and pants are sold together in one convenient pack.
